2. What data we collect — App
NONE. All app data (water logs, streaks, settings) is stored locally on your device. Sippie contains no analytics SDKs, no advertising networks, no crash reporting, no login or account system, no location access, and no camera or microphone access.
Sippie was built using Rork, an AI-assisted app development platform for React Native / Expo. Rork's AI (which uses large language models, including Claude by Anthropic) was used only during development to help write the app's source code — it never runs inside the finished app and never processes any of your data. The shipped app has no backend server, no third-party authentication (e.g. Supabase), no in-app AI chat features, and no payment processor other than Apple StoreKit (see Section 3). We do not sell, rent, or share your data with third parties, because we collect none.
3. In-App Purchases & Subscriptions
Subscriptions are processed exclusively via Apple StoreKit. We never receive your payment data — Apple processes all payments according to its own privacy policy. Your subscription token is stored locally on your device only. For refunds or billing questions, visit reportaproblem.apple.com.
4. App Store
Apple collects certain data related to your download and use of the app via the App Store, in accordance with apple.com/privacy. We have no access to this data.
5. What data we collect — Website
This website uses no cookies, no tracking, and no analytics. Our contact and feedback forms are processed via Netlify Forms — submitted data is used only to reply to you and is deleted within 12 months. Your language preference is stored in your browser's localStorage as a technical preference; it is not personal data and is never transmitted to us.
6. App Store Review Requests
Sippie may use Apple's native SKStoreReviewRequest to ask for an App Store rating. This request and any resulting review are processed entirely by Apple — we cannot see any personal information related to it.
7. Data security
Local device encryption protects the data stored by the app. Appropriate technical and organizational measures protect any data submitted through our website forms.
8. Data retention
App data: stored locally until you delete the app or the data yourself. Form submissions: retained for a maximum of 12 months. No other data is retained.
9. Your rights (GDPR / DSG)
You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, or port your data, and to object to its processing. You may also lodge a complaint with the Austrian data protection authority: dsb.gv.at. To exercise any of these rights, please reach out via our contact form.
10. Children's privacy
Sippie is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect any data from children.
11. Changes
The date at the top of this page shows when it was last updated. Continued use of the app or website after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.

2. Welche Daten wir erheben — App
KEINE. Alle App-Daten (Wasserprotokolle, Streaks, Einstellungen) werden lokal auf deinem Gerät gespeichert. Sippie enthält keine Analyse-SDKs, keine Werbenetzwerke, kein Crash-Reporting, kein Login bzw. Konto-System, keinen Standortzugriff und keinen Zugriff auf Kamera oder Mikrofon.
Sippie wurde mit Rork entwickelt, einer KI-gestützten Entwicklungsplattform für React Native / Expo. Die KI von Rork (die u. a. Sprachmodelle wie Claude von Anthropic nutzt) kam ausschließlich während der Entwicklung zum Einsatz, um beim Schreiben des Quellcodes zu helfen — sie läuft nicht in der fertigen App und verarbeitet keinerlei Nutzerdaten. Die veröffentlichte App hat keinen eigenen Backend-Server, keine Drittanbieter-Authentifizierung (z. B. Supabase), keine KI-Chat-Funktionen und keinen anderen Zahlungsdienstleister als Apple StoreKit (siehe Abschnitt 3). Wir verkaufen, vermieten oder teilen deine Daten nicht mit Dritten — weil wir keine erheben.
3. In-App-Käufe & Abonnements
Abonnements werden ausschließlich über Apple StoreKit abgewickelt. Wir erhalten niemals deine Zahlungsdaten — Apple verarbeitet alle Zahlungen gemäß seiner eigenen Datenschutzerklärung. Dein Abo-Token wird ausschließlich lokal auf deinem Gerät gespeichert. Für Rückerstattungen oder Abrechnungsfragen besuche reportaproblem.apple.com.
4. App Store
Apple erhebt bestimmte Daten im Zusammenhang mit dem Download und der Nutzung der App über den App Store, gemäß apple.com/privacy. Wir haben keinen Zugriff auf diese Daten.
5. Welche Daten wir erheben — Website
Diese Website verwendet keine Cookies, kein Tracking und keine Analyse-Tools. Unsere Kontakt- und Feedback-Formulare werden über Netlify Forms verarbeitet — übermittelte Daten werden nur zur Beantwortung verwendet und innerhalb von 12 Monaten gelöscht. Deine Sprachpräferenz wird im localStorage deines Browsers als technische Einstellung gespeichert; sie ist keine personenbezogene Daten und wird niemals an uns übertragen.
6. App-Store-Bewertungsanfragen
Sippie kann Apples native SKStoreReviewRequest verwenden, um um eine App-Store-Bewertung zu bitten. Diese Anfrage und eine daraus resultierende Bewertung werden vollständig von Apple verarbeitet — wir haben keinen Einblick in dabei anfallende personenbezogene Daten.
7. Datensicherheit
Die lokale Geräteverschlüsselung schützt die von der App gespeicherten Daten. Angemessene technische und organisatorische Maßnahmen schützen alle über unsere Website-Formulare übermittelten Daten.
8. Speicherdauer
App-Daten: lokal gespeichert, bis du die App oder die Daten selbst löschst. Formular-Übermittlungen: maximal 12 Monate gespeichert. Es werden keine weiteren Daten gespeichert.
9. Deine Rechte (DSGVO / DSG)
Du hast das Recht auf Auskunft, Berichtigung, Löschung, Einschränkung und Übertragbarkeit deiner Daten sowie ein Widerspruchsrecht. Du kannst außerdem Beschwerde bei der österreichischen Datenschutzbehörde einreichen: dsb.gv.at. Um eines dieser Rechte auszuüben, nutze bitte unser Kontaktformular.
10. Datenschutz für Kinder
Sippie richtet sich nicht an Kinder unter 13 Jahren, und wir erheben wissentlich keine Daten von Kindern.
